Food Allergy Update (1/21) - we are serving a few people with food allergies: dairy and pork. Please let staff know if your meal includes either of these ingredients.
Things are a bit different this year . . . The shelter is now open 24/7 year round and we've reduced occupancy to ten* to allow for social distancing. We aren't able to welcome volunteers back to serve meals yet. But, we are still looking forward to enjoying some homecooked meals again!
Shelter is reopening at Snoqualmie United Methodist Church on Monday, Nov 30th. This year we'll be in the Education Wing (single story addition that faces the parking lot and Rail Road Ave.) When making meal deliveries, please park at the far end of the parking lot and call the shelter phone number (425-773-2874) and staff will come out with a cart. If you can't call in, follow the ramp on the east end of the building and ring the door bell. A staff member will come out to help. Please remember to wear a mask when deliverying food.
Dinner will be served by staff at 6:30, so it would be great if dinner was delivered before 6:15pm. Breakfast for the next day can be delivered anytime of the day or evening. For breakfast we are happy to have either prepared foods or ingredients (such as juice, hot/cold cereal, sausage, eggs, cheese, frozen waffles/breakfast sandwiches, makings for sandwiches, soft fruit (bananas, grapes), etc.) We purchase all condiments in single serving packets, including syrup and salad dressings.
Please keep hot food above 140. Food that comes in under 140 has to be reheated to 165 before serving. Thanks!
*We've also added 20 motel vouchers per night, so our level of service hasn't actually decreased :)
