There are several ways that you can help the Landscaping Committee and you don't even need to have a green thumb!
Come when you can and stay for as long as you can!
If you need to arrive a little late or leave early, no problem at all! Just note that in your comments when you sign up, so they are prepared.
#1. Help unload the bags of mulch from the delivery truck around the campus. This could take up to 2 hours, maybe less. Meet at the glass door in front of the school.
#2. Help clean up and mulch at the Heritage House (Brick house off of Kandel Rd.) This could take up to 2 hours, maybe less.
#3. Help plant individual geraniums around the campus. This could take up to 3 hours, maybe less. Meet in front of the church.
Jason Vollrath will provide instructions or be present for each of these, so you are fully aware of what to do. His contact information is (937) 243-1954
There will be an additional sign up sent out to help with watering the flowers around the campus through out the summer. You can pick a week (Or two!) during the summer to be in charge of watering the flowers around the church. Depending on the weather, you would water every other day or so. Each time you water could take up to 2 hours if you are doing it by yourself. When multiple family members come and divide the job up, it could take less!
This is a great opportunity for service hours that involve the whole family! Remember if your school aged kid is helping, count their service hours also!
