HummerBird Sign Ups
The 31st annual HummerBird Celebration Sept. 19-22 is at the Rockport-Fulton High School and Middle School as in previous years! There are excellent speakers, new programing added and vendors look to make the 2019 event super. As a volunteer, you get an official event T-Shirt!
VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN I have volunteered, now what do I do?
Check in at the “Volunteer Entrance” to the Martha Luigi Auditorium 30 Minutes Before Your Shift Time. This entrance is located across from the Rockport-Fulton High School. A private dressing room will be available there for you and your group to put on your Festival T-Shirt(s).
__ Check-in at the Volunteer Entrance
__ Collect your Volunteer badge
__ Receive instructions to your post
__ Change into your FREE festival T-shirt
After checking in, make your way to your post.
Learn your position:
If you are the first shift of the day, the chairman for your area will be there to give you instructions.
If you are the second or third shift, you will likely get your instructions from volunteers who you are replacing at the shift change time.
Where do I park?
If you are working the midday or afternoon shift, please allow time to find parking. Festival goers will be coming and going, so you will have to cruise for a spot most likely.
Can I get in before my shift to see the festival?
Yes, come check in at Volunteer Check-In to collect your T-shirt and badge, then you will be able to enter the festival. Please note, the entrance gate volunteers will only let you in if you have your volunteer badge.
The festival could not be done with out you! Thank you for volunteering!
If you have any questions, feel free to email me. We hope to see you soon at the 30th annual HummerBird Celebration!
