Overview of Volunteer Positions Available:
Welcoming Committee -
1) Check In - These volunteers help attendees to check in at the event. This includes welcoming attendees, checking IDs, scanning tickets, and distributing wristbands. This would be stationary position, but not necessarily seated.
2) Greeters - These volunteers will be at the entrance of the event to assist with any questions attendees have and to direct those who have not checked in to the check in location. Volunteers would be prepped on general information, so no advance knowledge would be needed. This would be a stationary position, but not necessarily seated.
Decor Team -
These volunteers will be helping with rentals and linen set up, and they will also be responsible for table-top decor.
Event Team -
These volunteers are the jack of all trades! They will handle various tasks throughout the event from setup, distribution of disposables (cups, plates, etc.), general bussing of the event area, breakdown of the event, etc. No prior knowledge is needed. This is a fairly active role, and it will not be a seated position. The ability to lift 20+ lbs is a plus, but it is certainly not a requirement.
Culinary Support -
These volunteers will be helping our out-of-town chefs with plating and serving at the event. You'll get to work closely with some of the most talented chefs in the South! Kitchen experience is preferred.
Beverage Support Team -
These volunteers will work to make sure that our bars and beverage stations run smoothly! They will handle replenishing ice and product. This is an active role that will include some lifting.
