Volunteers are encouraged to join us to sort through donations, pull orders and wrap christmas presents for children impacted by trauma. Not required but we do ask that you bring wrapping paper, tape, tags and your own scissors if possible.
Adults and mature teens are welcome to volunteer. Sign up to volunteer for one or more hours. If you cannot attend, we ask that you call us with as much advance notice as possible at 623-428-1592.

ASA Now is committed to ensuring that all children and youth in and from foster care feel safe, supported, and empowered. We continuously innovate to provide programs and events that engage natural supports and promote healthy development. We believe that opportunities and education improve outcomes.
Our mission is to support and strengthen children, youth and families impacted by foster care by providing the necessary resources, education, skills, opportunities and events necessary to grow, connect, empower, improve, flourish and move forward.
ASA Now is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization that exists to serve children, youth and families impacted by foster care
ASA Now provides clothing, diapers, pull ups, wipes, hygiene kits, new under wear and socks, blankets, food, back packs and other basic necessities to help ensure that the initial needs of children and youth touched by foster care are met.
Besides meeting basic needs, ASA Now holds Family Socials, Birthday Parties for Foster Children, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Christmas Parties and Christmas Presents, Support Groups, Parent Night Outs, Trauma Mama Retreats and Couples Retreats, On-going Presentations for Caregiver, Emergency Food Boxes and they offer fresh fruits/vegetables and/or perishable items every other week.
Jacob’s Mission Community Center, an after-school center powered by ASA Now, serves students K-12 by offering after school tutoring, dance, art, reading music, keyboard, ukulele, guitar, karate, yoga and cooking lessons. The Resource Center and mentorship program will help transition youth into adulthood by providing classes such as budgeting, cooking and nutrition, job resume, college prep, housing and more.
