ASA Now is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization that exists to serve children, youth and families impacted by foster care

ASA Now provides clothing, diapers, pull ups, wipes, hygiene kits, new under wear and socks, blankets, food, back packs and other basic necessities to help ensure that the initial needs of children and youth touched by foster care are met.

Besides meeting basic needs, ASA Now holds Family Socials, Birthday Parties for Foster Children, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Christmas Parties and Christmas Presents, Support Groups, Parent Night Outs, Trauma Mama Retreats and Couples Retreats, On-going Presentations for Caregiver, Emergency Food Boxes and they offer fresh fruits/vegetables and/or perishable items every other week.

Only 30.7 percent of children who grow up in foster care graduate from high school and only 2.5 percent graduate from a four-year college.

ASA Now is investing in our state and investing in your future society by stepping up with solutions to reverse this alarming trend. They are renovating an old 8,000 sq. ft. church that sits on 3 acres. The church is being turned into a community center where children impacted by foster care can receive the direct supports needed to succeed.

Jacob’s Mission Community Center, an after-school center powered by ASA Now, will serve students K-12 by offering after school tutoring, dance, art, reading music, keyboard, ukulele, guitar, karate, yoga and cooking lessons. The Resource Center and mentorship program will help transition youth into adulthood by providing classes such as budgeting, cooking and nutrition, job resume, college prep, housing and more.

If you’d like to get involved, volunteer, host a drive or make a monetary donation we encourage you to sign up through the links below, visit their website at www.asanow.org or call 623-428-1592
