U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge
Help provide support for the Port of San Diego's U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge and Dimensional Art Exposition on the San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego. A significant portion of the proceeds are donated to educational charities for Children.
Volunteers are needed for Saturday Aug 31st thru Monday Sept 2nd, 2019. They work easy shifts of 6 hours, with some positions actively on their feet. (Requests for seated jobs may be noted in the comments and we will arrange them) The location is a gorgeous, sunny outdoor space filed with art, sand castles, families and live music.
All volunteers are admitted to the event free on the day they volunteer! All will receive an additional one-day pass (to keep/use another day or to give to a friend or relative, if they wish). Those who work 2 full shifts will receive a voucher for food/dessert at the beginning of the second shift.
If you are volunteering to represent a charity or civic group, please note your affiliation in the comments so we can track your team's participation.
Parking is not included. Public Transportation is strongly encouraged.
