St. Francis Fish Fry

8th Grade - March 27

Lent is now upon us. Are you ready for the Friday night Fish Fries?

PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP THE NUMBER OF ADULT VOLUNTEERS. The number of volunteers listed represent adult volunteers. Students are encouraged to be helping with their parents.

Please bring a dessert, either homemade or store-bought, on your assigned evening. They may be purchased or homemade. These should be brought to the Blessed Casey room off the Social Hall by 3:30 p.m. (or as soon as possible) on the day your class is assigned to serve.

In order for the Fish Fries to be a success, we need the participation of all families. Volunteering builds our School Community!  

Please sign up for a shift on the nights your children's classes are scheduled to work. If you cannot work your assigned nights, please sign up for different night.

Class Assignments

February 28 -- Kindergarten & 2nd grade (signup here)

March 6 -- 4th Grade & Pre-K (preschool is optional, but encouraged to help) (signup here)

March 13 -- 1st & 3rd grades (signup here)

March 20 -- 5th & 7th grades (Forty Hours Adoration) (signup here)

March 27 -- 8th grade (signup here)

April 3-- 6th grade (signup here)

Setup 3:00 - 4:30 (4)

• Set up place settings for all tables (placemats, napkins, forks and knives; coffee cups and spoons are positioned near table centerpiece). • Supervise the kids as they do the set up. • Keep them busy after set up is completed.

Dishwashers 3:00 - 5:30 (4)

• Wash dishes, loading and unloading the new automatic dishwasher • Take out garbge • Assist kitchen as necessary

 

Dishwashers 5:30 - 8:00 (4)

• Wash dishes, loading and unloading the new automatic dishwasher • Take out garbge • Assist kitchen as necessary

 

Food Prep 3:00 - 7:00 (8)

•Cut and dish up desserts, mix coleslaw • Make grilled cheese & veggies • Help prep fish • Restock beverages, desserts, bread, sour cream, etc thru dinner • Restock serving line side dishes

Table Cleaners / Resetters 4:15 - 7:30 (12)

•Responsible for clearing dirty place settings, cleaning table & reset place settings(assess need to reset after 6:30 based on crowd) •Offer coffee to guests •Take out garbage •Refill butter, cream, sugar as needed, clean & sanitize tables at end of night

 

Servers 4:15 - 7:00 (4)

• Responsible for serving fish and side dishes • Alerting a re-stocker / kitchen individual that your food supply is running low

Dining Room & Kitchen Cleanup 6:30 - 8:00 (8)

•Clearing tables, vacuuming, putting chairs back in place and taking out garbage • Assist in final kitchen cleanup•Put away all food supplies
