Back-Farms Volunteers
Back-Farms connects volunteers who are interested in learning about vegetable gardening with senior citizens to build, cultivate, and maintain organic gardens in their back yards at no cost to the senior.

Volunteers are needed to help with planting and garden maintenance, including weeding, trellising, watering, and more, throughout the season. The opportunities listed below one-time volunteer events. Each volunteer event will be overseen by one of our experienced garden staff members. We provide all tools necessary, but consider bringing the following items with you as needed:
- Water
- Gardening gloves
- Sun protective clothing, a hat, and/or sunscreen
- Raincoat or light jacket
