St. Raphael Catholic Church
The Annual Mother Teresa Luncheon is on Tuesday, December 11, 2018! We need your help!
We invite 100 guests from two shelters run by the Missionary of Charity located in Washington, D.C. Our honored guests arrive by bus to celebrate Mass with us, enjoy a Christmas Luncheon, followed by entertainment and gifts. May we please have your help with the following items to make this year's event successful?
Food: We need roasted turkeys, baked hams and drinks for our guests. To simplify the process for this year's turkey donors, we will accept 2 roasted turkey breasts in lieu of a whole roasted turkey, or 1 roasted turkey breast and several drumsticks and/or thighs in lieu of a whole bird. Of course, you can still roast a whole bird as a donation. If you wish to donate a baked ham, please make sure that you bake the ham according the label directions even if the label states the ham is fully cooked.
Beverage: We need 2-liter sodas for our guests. Please drop-off your donation to the SRS reception desk. We are serving Coke products, including regular and diet beverages.
Volunteers: We also need your time & presence to serve the food or just to sit and talk with the guests. Please find the volunteer item in which you can help us out below!
