PGRC

2018 Womens Distance Festival - Volunteer to Help

Be a part of the action Sunday, August 12th and support PGRC's "Women's Distance Festival" 5K race as a fantastic volunteer.

You can support a community of women (and men!) runners for PGRC's fun, flat and scenic 5k race on a certified course, beginning from the Wells Ice Rink parking lot and circling Lake Artemesia in College Park, MD. Some volunteers may also run in the race (check the position description).

Volunteers support two races: The women’s race starts at 7:30 am, followed by the men's race along the same course, staring at 8:30 am. This event is part of the Maryland Women’s Distance Festival 5k Series.  Thanks for helping out as a Volunteer, supporting the Club and giving the runners a great experience!

Location: (Start) Herbert Wells Ice Rink parking lot (5211 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, MD US 20740). Volunteers will be positioned throughout the course.

Date: Sunday, August 12

Race start: 7:30 am, and 8:30 am

Time: 6:00am - 10:30am EDT
