Children entering 2nd - 5th grades in the fall
Peace Frogs is a peace and social justice camp for kids entering 2nd - 5th grades. Through a variety of activities and experiences, kids will learn about caring for others, caring for the environment, caring for those with different needs, caring for animals and caring for themselves. We learn through art, science, outdoor activities, cooking, creating and field trips to name a few!
Youth volunteers are a big part of our program and what make our experiences so unique and fun! Youth entering grades 7th - college help to run the camp (along with paid adult staff) and bond with the campers. They are role models, teachers and workers. We are expanding our program this year to include more activities for the youth to learn and experience peace and social justice education at their level as well! Youth volunteers must attend a mandatory training to participate. Anyone ages 16+ working with kids will also be required to complete a background check and an online safety training. Please contact Heather, [email protected], with any questions and can't wait to see you at Peace Frogs this summer!
