Olney Elementary PTA
The Book Fair is almost here and it is one of our favorite and most successful fundraisers of the year! Not only does the Book Fair raise money for our PTA, so that we are able to give back to the school, but the kids LOVE it!
In order to make it a success, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Volunteers are needed in many capacities, and different times of day, so find something that works best with your schedule...and come help (I promise, it's fun!). Help is needed starting with set up on Friday, November 1st, and then during the week of Nov 4-8th, to help kids fill out their wish lists and purchase books.
For those that would like to help out, but are not available during the work day...we've got you covered! Our Milk & Cookies night will take place on Wednesday, Nov 6th, and this year we are once again moving the book fair down to the gym to accommodate the large crowds. Because of this, we will need a lot of help with breaking down & setting up in the gym (and then back to the media center after).
There will also be opportunities for SSL hours during Milk & Cookies night as well (see sign up)
And as a bonus for volunteering, you will receive a 5% discount at the book fair!!

***Please note that because this is a school based activity, all volunteers must complete the volunteer training in order to help out. If you did this last year, you are set - it lasts 3 years.
