Every Tuesday morning in front of Woodlawn School, there will be free baked goods and loaves of bread available to all families, donated from Grand Central Bakery!
We need a volunteer to help distribute these items to families between 7:45 am and 8:10 am.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
*Obtain the bags/bins of bread from Becky Hillary or Bettina Hammersley Rys to be donated to the Woodlawn School community. Either Becky or Bettina will be in touch the night before to arrange the bread exchange.
*Buzz into the front office to obtain a volunteer badge.
*Set up black folding tables (found just inside the front doors on the left side) outside to the left of the ramp leading to the front door.
*Set up a canopy if it is raining. Canopies (found in the back of the locker room closet in the lunchroom). Prepare to arrive at 7:30 on rainy days to have enough time to set up the canopy.
*Arrange the loaves of bread on the table with signs for FREE bread. Ask parents/guardians if they'd like a loaf of bread as they drop off students.
*Pack up bread into one bag and bring it inside to the Staff Resilience Room at 8:10. Arrange the bread on the right side of the table with a FREE bread sign.
*Place the empty bin/bags under the table in the Staff Resilience Room.
*Pack up black folding tables and store inside the front door on the left hand side.
*Take down the canopy (fly comes completely off). Return the canopy to the closet in the lunchroom. Drape the canopy over the frame in the bag in the closet to let air dry.
Thank you for your time volunteering at Woodlawn School!
