Partners in Hope Lake Travis
Overview: Each month, volunteers of all ages and skill levels serve as a family and in groups at a home in the Lake Travis community. Minor home repairs, trash pickup and yard maintenance are part of what we do on a typical work day, but the people we help have individual needs as well. We have built many wheel chair ramps, repaired several roofs, and painted inside and out more than a time or two. Take a look!
Special Request: Crystal & Vlad (March 2019) are anxious to keep their big yard beautiful & they need a lawn mower "somethin' fierce"! For a complete list of known needs, click here.
But please don't feel intimidated - PIH is not all heavy work load & hard labor. At one of our most recent work days, a volunteer sat with the homeowner (both face physical limitations) and peeled bluebonnet seeds to plant this fall. No matter your bent, passion or skill level, there's a place for you & what you do! partnersinhopelaketravis.com
