Community Meal Volunteers
Two great opportunities to provide food to those in need:
The Luke House and The Beacon.
Luke House: due to COVID-19, our meal and the way the meal is served have changed for the foreseeable future. Food donations are used to make to-go meals. 2 Adult Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve the meal at this time.
The Beacon: a homeless day resource center serving those experiencing homelessness in Dane County, provides breakfast and lunch 365 days a year. Food donations for the Beacon provide a hot sandwich lunch meal on the first Tuesday of each month.
Please deliver ALL Food donations to Peggy & Kitty in the Parking Lot behind the Parish Center, between 9am-9:45am on the first Tuesday of each month. Please stay in your vehicle and hand the items to them (or unlock a door and allow them to open a door and pickup the items from your vehicle). If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Peggy or Kitty directly. Thanks for your help and understanding during this time.
If you have any questions, please contact Kitty Anderson at 608-335-0723 or Peggy Afable at 608-235-1529. You can also call the Parish Office at 608-837-7381.
