Please join me for a three-part introductory online photography workshop on Adobe Lightroom. The workshop will be conducted on Zoom meeting.
Lightroom is a family of image organization and image manipulation software developed by Adobe Systems for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and tvOS (Apple TV). It allows importing/saving, viewing, organizing, tagging, editing, and sharing large numbers of digital images.
Unlike Photoshop, Lightroom's edits are always non-destructive by keeping the original image and the edits applied to it saved separately. Lightroom cannot perform many Photoshop functions such as doctoring (adding, removing or altering the appearance of individual image items), rendering text or 3D objects on images, or modifying individual video frames.
Lightroom includes seven modules (Library, Develop, Map, Book, Slideshow, Print, Web), and this workshop will introduce the functions of each. However, most of our time will be spent in Library and Develop--exactly the features you'll use the most.
The workshop will begin on Tuesday, September 15, at 8:00pm EDT and continue on August 19 and 26. Each session will last ninety minutes.
If you're interested, please choose one of the slots below. You'll receive an email from me with further instructions and zoom details. I hope to see you online.
Note: A current copy of the desktop version of Adobe Lightroom is highly recommended for this workshop. Adobe offers a Photography Plan that includes both Lightroom and Photoshop for a monthly fee of $9.99. Click here for further information.
