Please join me for a three-part introductory online photography workshop on Adobe Photoshop specifically for photographers. The workshop will be conducted on Zoom meeting.
Adobe Photoshop is a software application for image editing and photo retouching for use on Windows or MacOS computers. Photoshop offers users the ability to create, enhance, or otherwise edit images, artwork, and illustrations. Changing backgrounds, simulating a real-life painting, or creating an alternative view of the universe are all possible with Adobe Photoshop. It is the most widely used software tool for photo editing, image manipulation, and retouching for numerous image and video file formats. The tools within Photoshop make it possible to edit both individual images as well as large batches of photos.
The Photoshop name has become a generic trademark, leading to its usage as a verb (e.g., "to photoshop an image"). Photoshop can edit and compose images in multiple layers and supports "masking," affecting the way layers interact with each other.
Included in this introductory workshop will be discussions of the Photoshop interface, tools and layers. Beginning techniques for "selection" will also be reviewed.
The workshop will begin on Wednesday, September 16, at 8:00pm EDT and continue on September 23 and 30. Each session will last ninety minutes.
If you're interested, please choose one of the slots below. You'll receive an email from me with further instructions and zoom details. I hope to see you online.
Note: A current copy of the desktop version of Adobe Photoshop is highly recommended for this workshop. Adobe offers a Photography Plan that includes both Lightroom and Photoshop for a monthly fee of $9.99. Click here for further information.
