We Feed the Hungry.
The MBCC Manna Outreach Ministry provides seniors and families in the Memphis community with monthly boxes of food to supplement their food supply.
Volunteers deliver monthly food boxes to qualified seniors and disabled persons on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month. MBCC, in conjunction with its partners has faithfully provided this ministry for 30 years.
Volunteers are needed to fulfill Manna Outreach's mission each month. Background checks will be conducted on all volunteers.
1. Volunteer Deliverers are needed to make deliveries each month. Each Delivery Volunteer picks up food boxes on his/her assigned Saturday each month. Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and be responsible for his/her own transportation.
2. Volunteer Coordinators are needed to assist each 1st, 2nd or 3rd Saturday of each month. A Coordinator performs this task at the Midtown Outreach Center, 8:00 am - 12 noon on his/her assigned Saturday each month. Volunteer Coordinators will assist with administrative tasks and responsibilities, (i.e. meet and greet all volunteer deliverers, check off attendees listing, provide computerized route updates, etc.).
