Coming Soon! We need Congregations to Cosponsor this Project
Hello ICARE Volunteers! We have an opportunity for two congregations and an endless number of volunteers to help families in need.
Join the ICCCC to help Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley as they begin vertical construction at Esperanza Place in Walnut Creek. Located at 1250 Las Juntas Way, Walnut Creek - these 43 units will offer very low, low and moderate income families and individuals a safe and decent place to call home. More information can be found on the project here.
We need two congregational Co-Sponsors for this project in order to open it up to all Interfaith Council members and volunteers from your congregations that wish to participate. Co-sponsors will:
- Recruit volunteers (with support from the Interfaith Council) from their congregations and the interfaith council member volunteers who sign up for the project.
- Coordinate the project’s logistics.
Once we have two congregation Co-Sponsors, individuals from the interfaith community will be able to sign up.

The Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County relies on donations to run these programs. If you wish to donate to the next Interfaith Council for future projects, please donate here. Donate to ICCCC
ICARE is a new program of the Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County (I4C) that creates opportunities for people of diverse religions, spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions to work together to improve the lives of people in our county who are in need. By linking volunteers with projects across the county, we work together to provide resources such as food, shelter, supplies and other forms of support for people in our community. We do this by partnering with selected, local nonprofit organizations.
