St. Tom's Community
Jubliee Christmas has been a tradition at St. Tom's for many years. We have supported hundreds of families throughout the area by donating toys, books, clothes, stocking stuffers, wrapping supplies, etc.. This year, we will continue with the tradition of partnering with LUM and supporting approximately 40 families. In the past, these families have come to St. Tom's and worked with a St. Tom's host to help pick toys out for their children.
The process will look much different this year than in the past. We will be hosting a "drive-through" where the families will come to St. Tom's at a designated time on Friday, December 11th and Saturday, December 12th. They will receive an already packaged set of gifts for their children, gift cards for their teenagers, wrapping supplies, and a basket full of household necessities.
While we are collecting gifts as always for these families, we are also offering an opportunity for St. Tom's parishioners to "adopt" one of our families. If you choose to adopt a family, you will be contacted directly with the demographic information for the family you have chosen. You will purchase 3 gifts for each child in the family.
Once your shopping is done, you can deliver you gifts to the office at St. Tom's or deliver them during Saturday and Sunday masses. If you have adopted a family, please remember to put the assigned family number on your gifts so we can ensure that they are delivered to the correct family! Any extra gifts that are donated will also be distributed to those families.
All gifts for families must be brought to St. Tom's no later than December 6th.
If you prefer to purchase a gift card for a teenager, you can call the office or go on St. Tom's website to process your payment.
No need to wrap the presents! We will provide the necessary supplies to the families for them to wrap.
Thank you so much for helping in this year's Jubilee Christmas!
God Bless and Merry Christmas!
