Casa de Paz
Please watch this video on how to safely grocery shop.
Please prepare a meal that can be fully cooked or reheated after arriving at our home. For now, avoid fresh items like salads or breads that you prepare at home. Opt for a casserole, a pizza, a soup that requires high heat in the home oven/stove before serving.
Portion meals into individual sized servings and put in a ziplock bag or disposable container. We are placing dinners inside guests' backpacks so they're able to eat on the way to the airport or bus station. Putting silverware, napkins and a drink inside each meal bag is not necessary, but would be fantastic. There are fewer folks being released so making 2 - 4 individual servings is perfect.
When making the meal, sanitize between each step. Get in the habit of thinking about where germs can lurk on your way to our home. Of course, you washed your hands before, during, and after your meal prep, but what about after you picked up your wallet and keys to carry it to the car? What about between touching the steering wheel, and picking up the meals to take it to the front porch? Can you cover the meals with paper or plastic that we can remove before bringing them into our home? Sanitize, wash, sanitize!
You can leave the meal on the front porch and ring the doorbell. When you're out of view (meaning at least 6 feet away) we'll bring it inside.
The week before you bring the meal over we will send an email with our address and any other pertinent info.
