Due to the summer's high temperatures, Super Senior Strolls at the Park are on hold until after Labor Day.
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm we will be taking some of our senior dogs to Charlie Daniels Park for a quick stroll around the track! This is an opportunity for the dogs who are not able to go on our other hikes. Dogs attending this event may need a stroller, wagon, or other type of assistance to get around the track. We will be taking many breaks and spending an evening giving these seniors an outing they deserve!
Volunteers will need to use their cars to transport the dog they are walking to and from Charlie Daniels Park. If you plan on carpooling, we can not guarantee each person will be able to walk a dog since two or more dogs may not be able to be safely transported in one car.
Let us know in the comments if you are able to fit a stroller or wagon in your trunk space.
