The project we are seeking some help for is going to be in Fort Myers, Florida at the Gulf Coast Humane Society. We are going to be doing some renovations to the lobby area as well as creating a more functional space for their cat rooms and making sure they have lots of enrichment. We will be installing new kennels for the dogs, and giving the play yards a facelift! There is a lot to be done on this project so we will be tackling it in two phases.
The volunteer dates for the first phase will be from June 11th to June 24th.
The nature of the work we will be doing will vary, but here are some of the tasks to be expected for phase 1:
- Demo Existing Tile
- Install New Tile
- Build New Reception Desk
- Paint and Install Cat Enrichment
- Build Double Containment for Cat Rooms
- Paint Walls
- Install FRP Wall Coverings
- Install Trim
