Hollywood Food Coalition

The Food Hub

We are an Essential Service and are exempt from Governor Newsom's "Stay-at-Home" order. The HUB employs social distancing rules, the use of facemasks and follows all recommendations made by the CDC.

The Hollywood Food Coalition has successfully opened THE FOOD HUB at the Hollywood United Methodist Church on the NW corner of Highland and Franklin. Since May 18, 2020 we have already taken in more than 84,000 pounds of food and distributed over 46,000 pounds. It is a worthy and much needed project matching the right food to each specific organization in need.

We need volunteers at the Hollywood United Methodist Church (Mon-Fri 11am-4pm) to help sort and organize incoming and outgoing food. Volunteering requires lifting anywhere from 5-50 lbs. It can be a messy job, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty or bring an apron. Please sign up below. We will contact you with more info and the specific days we need. Please note: You may not hear from us right away. Thank you!!
