UUCE PADS Lunch Group
During June PADS guests will be at the shelter at 1730 Berkley St. We can now also serve meals, but volunteer servers must be fully vaccinated and wear a mask (please bring proof of vaccination to serve). Serving is always optional. The most important thing is the delivery of meals, which must be ready to eat when delivered to the shelter. Additional slots have been added to the schedule each week for server signups. If you are preparing all or part of the meal please signup for all of the meal components you will be providing. If you also plan to serve please sign up for one of the server slots. You can also just sign up to serve if you are not interested in preparing food. Don't worry about signing up to serve if you are uncomfortable doing so. The PADS staff can always handling serving. The number of guests we prepare lunch for is 20.
Following are the components of each meal:
- main dish + starch (starch can be a side dish or may be included in the main dish)
- fruit or dessert
If you want to help with meal prep but are unable to bring the food to the shelter on Monday morning, go ahead and sign up and contact Tom Durkin who will coordinate picking up the food.
