Meals for DVM

Thank you for your interest in our outreach project with Dirty Vagabond Ministries!  STA is scheduled to provide dinner on the second (2nd) Tuesday of every month, for 50-60 kids who attend DVM youth group nights, and volunteers.   In addition, STA will provide an after-Mass meal for 25 on the third (3rd) Sunday of each month.  The meal can be either breakfast or lunch.

2nd Tuesday Dinners
For each monthly dinner, we need eight (8) main courses, eight to 16 (8-16) sides/vegetables/breads, and eight (8) dessert items. We also need water, paper goods, adult delivery persons, and servers.  We ask that all food items be prepared/delivered in disposable pans/dishes.  Donations can be made by individuals/families, and/or parish groups.  If you are signing-up a group to donate an entire meal, please sign-up for all slots.  If you are interested in using the kitchen in Allen Hall for food preparation, please check "sign-up" next to that option; you will be contacted by DeAnn White, one of the STA+DVM coordinators, who will help coordinate your request.

Donors/delivery persons are asked to gather at the back circle drive at STA, at 6:00 p.m., on each scheduled day. Servers are asked to arrive at DVM in time for serving at 7:00 p.m.  Full details about drop-off, delivery, and serving will be emailed by DeAnn, after sign-up/prior to the dinner date. 

3rd Sunday Br/Lunches
For each monthly Sunday Br/Lunch, we need need three (3) individuals/families, or a parish group, to coordinate, prepare, and deliver a breakfast or lunch meal for 25 persons.  If you are signing-up a group to donate an entire meal, please sign-up for all slots.  Paper goods and utensils will also need to be provided.  Meals will be delivered to Holy Savior, where the DVM missionaries and kids attend 11:00 a.m. Mass.  DeAnn will contact everyone who signs-up for a 2nd Sunday Br/Lunch to explain details.

Please Note
This Meals for DVM sign-up will be a monthly "rolling" sign-up, with old dates falling off and new dates being added each month.  If you are interested in helping but there are no dates/times that work for you or all sign-ups are full, please watch for future sign-ups which will be emailed on a monthly basis.
