Thank you for helping grow food for our neighbors in need!
We welcome volunteers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. Volunteers are not required to belong to Wake Forest Presbyterian Church or any other organization.
We work in the garden throughout the year on most Saturdays, 8am-11am, weather dependent. We also harvest mid-week depending on what is growing, and we take care of other garden chores throughout the week as needed.
Days, times, and tasks are updated as needs change; please check back frequently!
TO SIGN UP: After reviewing the dates and tasks below, click on the button beside the desired date/time(s). Scroll down to see later dates. Sign up for as many slots as you want. You will be able to edit your own signups if your schedule changes in the future.
Registered volunteers will receive a confirmation email when they sign up and a reminder email 2 days before their scheduled workday. If a workday is cancelled, registered volunteers will be emailed no later than 5pm the previous day.
If you are unable to make your work shift, please try to find a replacement. However, do not let this request prevent you from signing up. We understand! (:
Please do not come if you are sick, think you might be sick, or suspect exposure, even if you are registered.
Wear closed-toe shoes. Bring hoe, rake, shovel, pitchfork, hand trowel, etc. if you already own them.
Kneeling pads and rolling garden seats are available.
Restrooms are available but are located on the other side of the church campus. Plan ahead!
All volunteers must comply with our mandatory Covid-19 safety measures. These change over time in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines and WFPC policy. Until further notice, please:
