Walk With Me 2019!


It's all hands on deck for Southwest Human Development's biggest fundraiser of the year!

Volunteers age 16 and up are needed to help this day go smoothly. (Age 12 and up can volunteer with a parent.) It's sure to be a fun morning, and there are lots of ways you can help out!

Pick a volunteer slot below and follow the prompts to sign up. Volunteers should register individually, but parents can sign up with one child.

General Set-up (8)

Hang signs, set up tables and carnival booths (must be able to lift and stand for entire shift)

50/50 Raffle Ticket Sales (4)

Sell raffle tickets to participants. Winner takes home half the pot! Must be 18 or accompanied by someone 18+ to sell.

 

Ambassador Parking and Course Direction (4)

Direct parking for our VIP attendees. Assist with directing walkers on the course.

 

Ambassador Tent (2)

Help families of children who represent agency to feel welcome and special.

 

Bounce House Attendant (12)

Monitor jump houses, obstacle course and hamster balls for safety and proper use. (Must be able to stand for entire shift.)

 

Carnival Game Attendant (25)

Run games like ring toss, duck pond, angry birds, boat race, etc. (Must be able to stand for entire shift.)

 

Registration (8)

Walker check in and T-shirt distribution.

 

Water Distribution (2)

Staff table with water bottles. Replenish as needed.

 

Wherever I'm needed

I don't have a preference of assignment.
