Welcome aboard the Queen of the Lake III. A restored 88 Ft. true sternwheeler, the only one of it's kind on a in-land lake in Ohio. Here the swishing of the paddlewheel as local captians and crew remind us of days gone by, the of Buckcye Lake today and it's future.
This site will allow you to register for historic public tours and events on the Queen. No carry-ons will be permitted; however, water will be available for purchase.
Plan to visit the Buckeye Lake Museum after the tour for a special rate!
This hour-and a-half tour cruises the historic shore line of Buckeye Lake narrated by a local historian. The boat has an upper and lower deck, Wi-Fi, restroom, and is manual wheelchair accessible.
The boat will not leave the dock if wind speeds top 10 miles per hour. We will also re-schedule during thunderstorms or severe lightening. In good weather the boat will leave the dock promply at the time for which you register.
Private charters are available for seniors, corporations, family outings, girls trips or any host of events. Please call the museum 740-929-1998 ask for Kaye Hartman, Event Corrdinator.
Your reservation is a donation to the Greater Buckeye Lake Historical Society a 501(c)(3) organization. As such, it is not refundable. You can re-schedule your tour with 48 hours advanced notice by calling the Museum (740-929-1998).
