The 2018 Harvest Feast is going to be a wonderful community event! The Harvest Feast is a chance for the students to relax and enjoy a Thanksgiving inspired meal with their classmates on Tuesday 11/20. Here's how you can help!
1. We would love to make this lunch more than just a regular lunch day. We are looking for decorations and decorators to turn the cafeteria into something extra special. See below for specific needs.
2. The food will be served family style and we are looking for non-plastic serving bowls to borrow for the day. Label anything you want back. You will need to retrieve your item (it will not be sent home unless we are notified and the item is clearly labeled with name and home base). Examples provided below- no need to buy these exact ones. Just use these as a gauge of what we need when you shop your cabinet. Please do not send family heirlooms or items you would be greatly concerned about! Thrift stores are wonderful options if you want to send something in with no worries!
3. We will need some helpers (about 5-7/ grade level) to help restock food and keep the space looking nice! You will be welcome to eat with your class if you sign up to help during a different grade level's lunch and have RSVP'ed*.
4. In order to keep the meal safe for all students with life threatening allergies (which I know we all want to do!!) you may ONLY send in the pies from the ECS fundraiser or a gallon of chilled apple cider.
*Don't forget! There is a November 9th deadline to RSVP if you had planned to eat with the class. The school provides the meal free of charge to our students and guests but a headcount is needed by 11/9 to ensure adequate quantities were ordered.
