EPCEA Field Day 2019

PLEASE READ ALL FIRST

Volunteer time frame: 7:40-10:15

Field Day time frame: 8:05-11:00

Thank you very much for volunteering, without you this program and the stations would not be successful.  Your commitment to our school is so important to our students.

A station can be turned from just an ordinary 'throw the ball at a target' station to something that is exciting, intense, fun, and story based.

Don't be afraid to jump in and bring it to life!

Just a few reminders:

-Please commit to the day you have selected to volunteer.  We have rigid schedules and need all volunteers to be at their station on their designated day. Your help in this matter is most appreciated! If you sign up and then find out you are unable to make it within a week of the event, please email me or call ASAP. Please note that if you sign up for a station, you will be unable to walk around with your child’s class.

-Stations are labeled EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD, with a short description of the stations.  I will teach the stations starting at 7:40 each morning, if you would like, I will teach ahead of time.

-Basic Layout:

o   Pick a station (only 1 per day) that you would be willing to work for 120 minutes.

o   Six classes will rotate through your station, 15-20 minutes each.

o   After the six rotations, we have the 40 meter dash finals, tug of war, and the 1/2-1 mile race.

o   No volunteers are needed after the 6 rotations, which will end near 10:15am.
