2019 Woodfin 5K Volunteer Sign Up

Thank you for helping to make the 2019 Woodfin 5K a success!  All assignments begin at Woodfin Elementary School, 108 Elk Mountain Road 28804, unless otherwise noted in the job description.  On Race Day, we will have a volunteer breakfast with coffee available for you starting at 7:00am in the Cafeteria!

Mark table locations and assignments on WES parking lot & driveway with chalk/tape. Allow an hour, but can happen any time in 3-6pm window.

Set up booths and tables for event. Move tables & chairs from Cafeteria to preassigned spots in the parking lot. Will likely take only 7:00-7:45am. Feel free to sign up for another slot at a later time!

Assist Pre-Registered Runners (those who have already registered and paid through Run Sign-Up) with the Check-In process. Pass out Race Bags and answer any questions racers may have. Ensure organized and efficient Check-In experience for runners.

Set Up, Manage, and Tidy-Up after Volunteer Breakfast in the Cafeteria. All food & drink will be delivered to you at 7AM.

Break down all tents. Move tables and chairs to proper locations in school. Help any vendors break down their tents. Dump coolers. Pick up trash. Return school frontage to normal state.
