Calvary Room in the Inn

Calvary Episcopal Church Room In the Inn Winter Season 2019-2020

We at Calvary Episcopal Church are excited to host ROOM IN THE INN for our FIFTH SEASON OF EMERGENCY WINTER SHELTER in partnership with Room in the Inn- Memphis! RITI- Memphis connects people experiencing homelessness in our city with over 50 congregations / faith groups to provide holy hospitality.  Each group hosts a different night and welcomes 12-15 guests at a time.  We will host EVERY SUNDAY night from November to March.  We will transport our guests to Calvary from Carpenter House located at 212 N Second Street, prepare and share dinner, offer access to Calvary's Clothes Closet, provide a warm, safe place to sleep and a quick breakfast with a snack to-go.  We welcome donations of travel size toiletry items. There are various ways that you can help make this ministry a success.

Please look over the volunteer opportunities below and help Calvary in making God's love visible in downtown Memphis. View this short video about Calvary's Room in the Inn. If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact Betty Jo Dulaney, Terri DulaneyTodd Goforth, Anna Gregory, Paige Whittle or Mary Jane Viar.
