Calvary Room in the Inn

Calvary - Room In the Inn - Summer Season 2019

We at Calvary Episcopal Church are excited to host ROOM IN THE INN for our SECOND SEASON OF EMERGENCY SUMMER SHELTER in partnership with Room in the Inn- Memphis!  Because there is currently not any emergency housing for women experiencing homelessness, Room in the Inn Memphis will host only women during the summer to ease the burden for these particularly vunerable guests.  Each month on the SECOND SUNDAY, we will transport our guests to Calvary from Carpenter House located at 212 N Second Street, prepare and share dinner, offer access to Calvary's Clothes Closet, provide a warm, safe place to sleep and a quick breakfast with a snack to-go. There are various ways that you can help make this ministry a success.

Please look over the volunteer opportunities below and help Calvary in making God's love visible in downtown Memphis. View this short video about Calvary's Room in the Inn. If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact Betty Jo Dulaney, Terri DulaneyTodd Goforth, Anna Gregory, Paige Whittle or Mary Jane Viar.
