Smith Breakfast

Smith Middle School PTSA Delayed Opening Teacher/Staff Breakfast

Happy New Year, Smith Families!  There is a tradition at Smith of the PTSA and its members providing the wonderful faculty and staff who take care of our middle schoolers with a generous, delicious buffet breakfast the morning of every delayed opening.  Our next delayed opening of the year (barring any more hurricanes) is on Thursday, January 17. Please consider signing up to contribute any item or two.  If you love to cook or bake, here's a great opportunity.  If not, there are many store-bought items on the signup as well.

Items are to be delivered to Smith between 7:10 and 7:25 on Thursday, January 17.   If you are contributing something that can be done in advance (plates, juice, etc...), please let us know first - you can leave them at Smith on Wednesday afternoon, but the items must be CLEARLY MARKED "For Delayed Opening Breakfast."  If you are contributing a hot casserole item that needs to be served warm (these are the teachers' favorites!), please plan to deliver it directly to Smith the morning of the event.  We do not have the capacity or the time before these breakfast events to reheat things, and we don't have easy access to a microwave or other heating devices at the school.

Feel free to contact us with any questions!

Thanks so much!
