Dutch ovens can make more than just cobbler! Discover the magic of the Dutch oven and learn recipes for tasty and unusual meals.
Learn tips and tricks to preparing light-weight meals in the back country. Find out ways to eat good food that isn’t
pre-prepared or freeze dried.
Learn the basic outdoor cooking requirements for the Cub Scout ranks. Practical tips, easy recipes, and ways to be safe and have FUN!
Fun ways and ideas to teach cooking to all ages. From Tiger to Cooking Merit Badge.
On display will be small backpack cooking items to large fixed camp with several types of patrol boxes.
For this event to be a success we are requesting each unit to host at a minimum of one display or dish. Feel free to sponsor as many as you want.
Please bring your own chair, mess kit (or plate) fork spoon and cup.
