New Life Church Project Home
Volunteers young and old are welcome to be a part of this family-friendly ministry!
Project Home is an outreach of Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul (former name St. Paul Area Council of Churches) to provide temporary shelter for families with children in Ramsey County experiencing a housing crisis. New Life Presbyterian Church in Roseville (965 West Larpenteur Ave. at Victoria) hosts up to 20 guests each night during the month of April.
Each day two adult volunteer Evening Hosts help out from 5:30 to 8:30 pm; two Overnight Hosts serve from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am Mon-Fri and to 9:00 am Sat-Sun. (separate sleeping rooms and beds provided; bring your own bedding.) Learn more at Project Home. Youth and children may host along with an adult, both evening and overnight. When you sign up, please provide your email and phone number(s) so that we can send you a reminder a few days before and contact you that day if hosting needs change. These will not be displayed on the public sign-up page.
Project Home offers excellent online Volunteer Training HERE. All volunteers will want to review this material. New volunteers and all who are interested are invited to a Volunteer Training Session by Project Home staff and a tour of the space at New Life Presbyterian Church, date and time to be determined.
