St. Helen Catholic School
THANK YOU!! THE SOUP BOWL IS SOLD OUT.
Samaritan Center for the Homeless offers long-term housing and guidance for homeless families in Indian River County and prepares them to live independently. It is a core program for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Palm Beach. Their main fundraiser is the Soup Bowl. It is the 27th year for this city-wide event.
More than 70 local restaurants donate soup to non-profits and houses of worship, and we sell the soup with a slice of bread for $3. To keep with the theme, over 40 local artists create hand thrown pottery bowls which are also for sale for $15. In addition to soup and pottery we will offer raffle tickets for beautiful, hand crafted soup toureens. THIS IS A CASH ONLY EVENT.
This year Ono Luau, whose owners are alumni of St. Helen Catholic School, have agreed to donate chicken noodle soup to St. Helen. On Thursday, November 7th at all lunch periods, parents are invited to enjoy soup that day with their student. YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE for the soup. We are unable to utilize the SHCS lunch system / payment option so PLEASE BRING CASH. The regular lunch menu will be available that day.
Please register YOU AND YOUR STUDENT or just your student below for his / her regularly scheduled lunch period.
