Saturday, March 30, 2019 • 9:00-9:15 am Gather and Scatter! Commissioning service at PUCC • Followed by projects to benefit the community

Six fulfilling projects throughout the community will take place on Saturday morning, as well as one late afternoon/evening project option this time. There are a wide variety of projects to allow all ages, ability levels,and interests to share God's love with the community. Those who cannot participate on March 30 are encouraged to bake treats in advance to be shared with service providers. 

After the projects, we encourage the teams to enjoy a meal together at a convenient location.

Make & serve lunch -Project Downtown

Project Downtown St Louis' mission is to provide essential services to homeless and impoverished segments. Lunch prep begins at 10:00. Children under 12 should be accompanied by adult. Contact Lisa Mason– [email protected] or (217) 257-0525

Various morning projects -Room at the Inn

Room at the Inn is a temporary, emergency shelter program for homeless women & families. Depending on weather, we'll rake leaves, wash windows, clean, sort donations, and/or paint inside. Contact: Stephanie Polster [email protected], (314)680-4624

Painting at Bravely House

Bravely serves women suffering from sex trafficking/exploitation. Beginning at 8am, we'll paint 2 rooms. Can you bring a roller frame, brush, paint tray or 8-ft ladder? Wear old clothes! Contact Evelyn Buretta [email protected] (314)537-1003

Create cards of support

Bake treats in advance

You may bake cookies or brownies and leave them on the back counter in the PUCC kitchen (2841 N. Ballas Rd.) March 28-30, clearly marked “JHLTB.” Treats will be shared with a variety of groups to show our appreciation for serving the community.
