Bag Lunch Servers
Bag Lunch continues at Meade with a steady number of "regulars;" new guests who have never stood in line for food; and people working outdoors on roads/utilities, refuse collection, etc. We are distributing ALIVE! groceries on Thursdays and Fridays (so definitely more business on those days). Also cloth masks and other food donations received from local businesses when available.
We will continue to serve on the patio at Meade until the Church re-opens (Meade received special approval from the Diocese to open for social services only), thus are not offering soup this season. On rainy days we stand inside the doorway. If you are interested in serving but not sure if you are comfortable, please call me and we'll talk it through. If you sign up to make sandwiches, I'll work with you on quantities and delivery. Thank you for serving this ministry!
