Rainbow Village is designating the entire month of May as a month of prayer in honor of the National Day of Prayer (May 6th) to honor our origin as a ministry of Christ Episcopal Church, Norcross. The Rev. Joel P. Hudson was the founding Rector of Christ Episcopal Church and during his ministry, inspired many in their love for God and service to others. One of these was Josh Costell, who in 1991 gifted Christ Church with $25,000 to answer the calling that God placed on his heart to begin a ministry in memory of his mother Ida, who always opened the door of their home to Josh’s friends when they were in trouble. Reverend Hudson’s leadership brought others to join the mission and Rainbow Village was born in a dilapidated house in Norcross. Much has changed over 30 years in the facilities, programs, and staff. But what hasn’t changed is our mission to provide help, hope, housing and healing to homeless families in need. Can't walk with us on 5/15?
