Hold the space for the morning group leaders to check in and share their morning group experiences with each other. Create a safe space for the leaders to land. Monday - Thursday about minutes each day. Time is usually around 11:15 am.

Run the new camper orientation and hang out with the newbies for the first few days of camp as they get settled.

If you are a night owl, please make sure the lights in Crows, Theater and the Tent are turned off for the night before retiring.

This involves communication with Nissokone staff to see what activities they plan to offer to SFA on any given day. Create a sign up for those activities and post the activity, time and place on the white board.

 

WHITEBOARD COMMUNICATOR

Campers will learn about daily events and schedules from white boards located around camp. These are updated at least once daily.

Position requires being a good listenrer and the ability to hold the space in a non-judgemental way to let folks vent if they need to. Your job will be to listen, not to "fix" or give advice. It's the person to come to if campers have an issue.
