Your donations of no-longer-needed practical winter clothing and blankets/sleeping bags, as well as hand warmers, can help keep the unhoused people of Ecclesia Ministries - commmon cathedral warm this winter. Because the program that usually provides these necessities cannot run this year, St. Andrew's is stepping up to support our outreach partner.
Please see below for the specific items needed and sign up for those you plan to bring. All clothing must be suitable for men/all genders, casual, and appropriate for rugged outdoor conditions. Please do not donate dressier clothing or styles and colors typically associated with women.*
Drop-off takes place outside 16 Rice Street, Wellesley all day on Tuesdays (along with our B-LOVE food collection) through mid-January. Place all donations inside a plastic trash bag before delivering.
* If you have women's or children's winter coats to donate, please drop them at any Anton's Cleaners location for their Coats for Kids program.
