June 12 update: We welcome our friends at St. Michael's Holliston to sign up for some cooking or serving time along with St. Andrew's parishioners! If you have questions call or email one of the organizers listed below!
B-SAFE will be operating its 22nd summer in 2021 and even as we tentatively emerge from a pandemic, there will be safety protocols and changes from how we operated in the past. St. Andrew's will be right there with St. Stephen's, as we have been for 20+ years.
This year's theme is Brave Enough to Be It - with thanks to Amanda Gorman, and her poem, The Hill We Climb. Here is a short video about St. Stephen's Youth Programs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUoKXlUeXJQ
B-SAFE will be offering enrichment programming both in-person and virtually, creating a blended learning model, emphasizing project-based learning and connections to teen and adult staff. In coordination with state-wide guidance on group activities, the B-SAFE site at St. Stephen's church at 419 Shawmut Avenue in Boston will only be hosting children (ages 5-11) in small groups for limited hours. Our support is dramatically reduced from prior years and we are only providing 80 lunches per day. Good news, though, that we will be able to have a Friday field trip to Lake Cochituate! In addition, we will provide 50 bags of non-perishable groceries.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
