If you are consigning over 300 items and not donating all of the unsold items you are considered a Power Consignor. If you are consigning over 500 items, you are a Mega consignor and that's amazing! Thank you so much for trusting your items to JBF Mercer!
We have also noticed that our Power and Mega Consignors take up a significant amount of rack and floor space. This creates a bad experience for our customers as our racks, tables and floor can be packed beyond capacity, making shopping difficult and frustrating. This also creates extra work for our consignors and team members helping us to keep the sale organized during the event. More importantly, at the end of the sale the final step to a successful event is a smooth breakdown and sorting of items. We must achieve this not only with time constraints, but it must be done in an seamlessly and most importan accurate. This has to be done with incredible organization so that all items are returned to their respective owners. The fallout of not doing this can be significant, a bad consignor experience and damaging our future sales events.
Therefore, if you are consigning over 300 items and not donating all of them after the sale, we ask that you either DONATE 2 hours of your time during our busiest times (no credit) OR sign up for the Sunday breakdown shift for Credit (4 credit hours, but not double credit). We try to be flexIble as we can and give you a variety of shifts to choose from, but we have important times that we are in need of help to have thje best sale possible.
If you are consigning over 500 items and not donating all of them after the sale you Must help during the breakdown shift on Sunday. You will get credit for the Sunday shift (4 credit hours!!)
Power consignor - More than 300 items, please sign up for one 2 hour shift (0 credit hours) or for a 5 hours shift on Sunday ( 4 credit hours - can be combined with other shifts for larger % of your sales)
Mega consignor - More than 500 items, please sign up for a 4 hour shift on Sunday (4 credit hours- can be combined with other shifts for larger % of your sales)
Only sign up for 1 slot here - If you want more credit hours, please log into your JBF account and select a shift (or 2) for additional % of your sales.
If you are unable to volunteer at all, that's okay. Just tag less than 300 items or you can purchase a breakdown person in your place for $12.50 per hour. Please note that if you bring 300 or more items, you will need to sign up for a 2 hour shift or $25 will be taken out of your final check. If you bring more than 500 items and cannot help on Sunday, $50 WILL
be taken out of your final check.
