The Red Cross would not like to request anymore donations at this time. They will gladly accept items that you have already signed up to donate. If you have not yet signed up to bring items and would like to please see the Salvation Army Wish List https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4faba92da5ff2-salvation
For those that are still bringing items already signed up for please note that all items must be brand new. Items should be dropped off at the Kea'au Red Cross shelter which is located at Kea'au Community Center on the end of the dead end street behind the police station in Kea'au. When you are dropping off items please make sure that you indicate that they are wish list items. Mahalo nui for your help. If you have any questions please contact me (Angie Woods) at [email protected]
FYI, the first 2 weeks after the disaster I was working with Red Cross Directors Debbie Weeks and Anthony Colombo. With the approval of Debbie Weeks director of Red Cross I had created this wish list for the Kea'au Red Cross Shelter. The following items on this wish list are upon request of the Kea'au Red Cross workers (Daghild, Karen, and Donni) as well as a few of the individuals and families there that I approached. Mahalo to those who so generously gave.
