American Education Week
American Education Week is November 18th through 22nd. This week-long event celebrates public education and honors individuals who are making a difference in ensuring every child receives a quality education.
Our PTA facilitates donations of food and provides coffee each day during this week for visitors to enjoy. If you would like to contribute by baking items or buying baked goods, please sign up!
After signing up for a day, you will be taken to a page to confirm and enter comments. Please indicate what baked goods you will be bringing in that area. Cookies, breakfast pastries, donuts, and other easy-to-eat, bite-sized foods are perfect - the choice is yours! Thanks!
If bringing food for Monday, November 18th, please bring items into the school between 9am to 9:15am. If bringing food for Tuesday through Friday, you may drop off your item up to 1 day prior to your chosen date in the front office. Please label any personal pans, trays, platters, etc. with your name so we can return them to you later that day/week.
If you would like to provide a monetary donation in lieu baking or buying food yourself, please send a donation of any amount to school in an envelope labeled: PTA American Education Week Donation. Cash or checks made payable to Chatsworth School PTA are accepted.
NOTE: School is closed for students on Friday, November 22nd for Conference Day. No donations are needed for this date.
