Pumpkin Bread Volunteer Instructions

Thanks very much for volunteering to collect the pumpkin bread donations. Here is what you need to do:

1. Ask someone in the front office to open the storage closet in front of the school to pull out the two grocery carts.

2. Roll them to the drop off curb in front of the school.

3. Ask someone in the front office for the envelope for the Pizza Party Point Tracker sheet for the day you are volunteering.

4. Students will drop off donations to the cart.

5. Hopefully one or two Leadership students will be there to help as well. If they are, they can track the points for the pizza party contest. If not, you and your fellow parent volunteer will need to be sure to track them as they come in. Ask the student who is donating what the name of their Home Room/Period 1 Teacher is. Then mark the quantity that they donated within each column with hash marks or numbers, if using numbers be sure to separate with commas.

6. By 8:15 (or sooner if it seems pretty dead), return the Point Tracker sheet to the office. Ask someone to open the staff lounge for you. Roll the carts to the lounge and move all of the donations into the freezer. Return the carts to the storage room.
