Clarkston Cross Country
Would you like to help at our meets? The jobs include course monitors (home meets only) who are stationed out on the course during the race and finish line workers (timer and finish recorders).
Course monitors are stationed where the trail exits the woods near the pond. You are on the lookout for any runners having difficulty who may need assistance from our athletic trainer. Could be a twisted ankle or any other need. A rare occurance but a safety percaution just in case. You do not need to provide the help. You get to radio us to ask for the trainer.
The timer (home and away meets) is getting times of just the Clarkston finishers. One finish recorder (home meet only) is recording the name of the team for the first 15 runners. Example: Oxford, Clarkston, Clarkston, Oxford..... The other finish recorder (home and away meets) is writing down the bib numbers of just the Clarkston runners as they finish.
See coach Rykse at the meet for your instructions. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the boys race.
Thank you for your help!
