The Whatcom County Science and Engineering Fair is looking for volunteers to judge the projects submitted to the fair. Students in grades K-12 from throughout Whatcom County are eligible to enter the fair. We're seeking volunteer judges currently engaged in a STEM-related career (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or with a STEM-related background to review and rate the projects submitted to the fair.
All judging takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2020. This is a volunteer role, and you will not be compensated in any way. You will be trained and be able to enjoy refreshments in the judge's lounge.
Please fill out the form below if you're interested in volunteering as a judge. Our judging coordinator will provide you with more information in the weeks leading up to the fair. We cannot guarantee you will be assigned to judge the category/division of your choice. We make every effort to match judges with their interest areas when possible. Thank you for your flexibility. Please contact us if you have any questions, at [email protected]
